Aku tertegun melihat perkembangan karya GODDREARY yang bergaya anime di bulan september 2009...dengan gaya chibi posting lanjutannya dibulan oktober 2009. Dalam satu bulan udah langsung bisa ngerancang karya pixel yang mantap abis (bagian yg chibi, asli luchu dan bikin tertarik) sangat kiyut dan menggemaskan Very Happy

wow sampe bisa di AA-in satu-satu karakternya.

AA atau antialiasing dalam konteks Pixel Art juga dapat dikenal sebagai seleksi garis tepi / softening outlines atau selective outlining (disingkat: selout) adalah suatu proses pemberian shading pada garis tepi objek Pixel Art. Nah, daripada terlalu sering menggunakan warna hitam di setiap garis tepi, Pixel Artist dapat mengaplikasikan warna yang lebih dekat dengan warna dasar objek itu sendiri. Nih contohnyuaa:

1. outline standard, boring abis dwehh
2. dikasih selout coklat kemerahan, warna selout tentunya mendekati warna dasar orange
3. dikasih selout dibagian datangnya cahaya, beri warna coklat cerah
4. lihat perbedaan dalam ukuran objek sebenarnya, yang mana yg lebih halus?

Pada beberapa bagian, selout terlihat baik-baik saja untuk diaplikasikan namun pada beberapa area khusus dimana warna muncul lebih redup selout dapat tampil tajam dan aneh sebagai solusinya gunakanlah warna yang lebih cerah pada pengaplikasiannya.

Kadangkala Pixel Art akan terlihat lebih baik jika beberapa garis tepi dihapus sebagian dan diganti dengan sebuah warna yang berdekatan dengan warna shading. Sebagai contoh perhatikanlah pemotongan garis tepi hitam pada bagian batas antara kulit dengan lengan baju berikut ini.
